ARC has partnered with Humane Society of Manatee County to create a very effective Foster Program, in a year and half more than 250 puppies and kittens have been saved from certain euthanasia. ARC is currently working with several senior communities to expand the foster program.

ARC’s goal is to expand this program so that no healthy puppies and kittens are euthanized in Manatee County.  The success of this program is determined by the number of generous families willing to foster puppies and kittens.

ARC has made a long term-commitment to promote the adoption of homeless dogs and cats, and to sponsor Adopt-a-thons in both Sarasota and Manatee Counties. ARC provides volunteers, all marketing and publicity and underwrites 50% of adoption fees for our local shelters.
