Nationally-known artists Mary GrandPre and Tom Casmer have joined
forces with FETCH! Pet Care and Maxs Dog Bakery to raise funds
for Animal Rescue Coalition. Friday, May 9 from 5-8pm at Maxs
Dog Bakery, located at 1375 Main Street in Sarasota.
Mary and Tom, Sarasota residents and dog lovers, will do a book
signing of their co-authored and co-illustrated childrens
book titled Henry and Pawl and the Round Yellow Ball. This is a
heartwarming story of how kids can find the fire of creative expression
within themselves and their everyday lives. Henrys artistic
inspiration is Pawl, a loyal pal who wags a tail!
The event hosts, FETCH! Pet Care and Maxs Dog Bakery, are
passionate about high-quality products and services for pets and
pet owners and regularly donate to local animal welfare organizations
including Animal Rescue Coalition, Humane Society of Sarasota County,
Humane Society of Manatee County, Honor Sanctuary, Southeastern
Guide Dogs, Gulf Coast Florida Weimaraner Club, and Fast Friends
Greyhound Adoption.
Maxs Dog Bakery is donating the proceeds of all gift ticket
sales to ARC and FETCH! Pet Care is providing $25 gift certificates
to attendees. Co-sponsor Sarasota News & Books is donating 25%
of all book sales to ARC and pet photographer, Betty Lupacchino,
is donating a free pet sitting for one lucky gift ticket recipient.
Says owner of Maxs Dog Bakery, Beth Ealing, This event
is what Yappie Hour is all about connecting people and pets
and creating a fun time to give back. We hope to see you there!
