THE ANIMAL RESCUE COALITION
(ARC) is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to
end the killing of adoptable dogs and cats in Sarasota and Manatee
Counties by means of a proactive spay/neuter program, comprehensive
adoption program, and various other programs designed to recognize
the profound benefits to people of animal companionship.
The ARC Mobile Spay/Neuter Clinic has spayed and neutered
more than 21,000 dogs and cats since 2002, significantly
reducing pet overpopulation in our community.
ARC's is a collaborative effort which includes local
animal welfare organizations, both private and public sector, and
partnerships with Sarasota and Manatee Counties.
We support initiatives to:
* Reduce pet overpopulation.
* Increase adoptions.
* Promote responsible pet guardianship.
Foster and Adoption Programs have helped hundreds of homeless cats
and dogs find loving permanent homes.
Donations to ARC do not take the place of vital donations to its Participating
Organizations, who rely upon donations to provide essential animal
care service and for support of ongoing shelter operations.

Providing free and low-cost spay/neuter services to income-eligible
families at eleven locations throughout Sarasota and Manatee counties.

One Sunday each month, the ARC Mobile Spay/Neuter Clinic
performs spay and neuter surgeries on feral cats for FREE!

FOSTER PROGRAM
ARC partners with Humane Society of Manatee County and to-date
has saved over 250 puppies and kittens from certain euthanasia.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL FUND
ARC works with Sarasota County Animal Services to rehabilitate injured
stray animals and find them homes. To support the Emergency Medical
Fund, please mail your donation to the ARC office or call at 941-957-1955.
